It&#8217;s an easy walk from Union Station and well served by nearby streetcars. Entry is free and the plaza is open daily; half an hour is plenty, and it pairs perfectly with a browse through the neighbouring St. Lawrence Market.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"When_to_visit\"><\/span>When to visit<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>The fountain is the photogenic centrepiece and runs spring through fall, when the dogs spout and the perennial garden fills with summer colour \u2014 the warmest months are the liveliest.
